¡Ay CRAMBA It’s Cold Out! Fat Bike/Snow Bike Festival

Mid-December 2016 First Big Snow Group Ride at River Bends

Please join CRAMBA for the annual ¡Ay CRAMBA It’s Cold Out! Fat Bike / Snow Bike Festival on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm for a celebration of winter riding at Shelby Township’s River Bends Park. (back up date is 2/18/23)

Come on out and join us for group rides, fat bike demos, hot bonfires, chili, and tasty beverages with a hundred of your fellow fat bikers. This is a potluck-style event, so please bring food, snacks, and/or drinks to share. And yes, beer is allowed in the park.

Once again we’ll have the River Bends Snow Bike Route (RB-SBR) groomed by CRAMBA volunteers specifically for fat bike riding. For the hardy, add in the challenge of some classic fat biking by riding the full Yellow loop which swaps some two track for 3/4 of a mile of ungroomed, foot-and-bike packed single track. And yes, the new CK Canal Loop will be groomed as well!

2023 Vendors – KLM will have demo bikes for you to try along with other giveaways including Specialized RBX jacket, bibs, and Deep winter gloves.

Mainstreet Bicycle, Trek, and Select Cycle Worx.

Meet in River Bends Park, located on the south side of 22 Mile Road between Shelby and Ryan roads in Shelby Township. (Careful you don’t use the entrance off of Ryan and Hamlin; it doesn’t connect by road to the area we’ll be at.) Drive into the park, past the small lot into the main parking area, and look for us to your left. Click here for a map and directions: 5700 22 Mile Rd, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317.
