¡Ay CRAMBA It’s Cold Out! Fat Bike/Snow Bike Festival

Mid-December 2016 First Big Snow Group Ride at River Bends

Please join CRAMBA for the annual ¡Ay CRAMBA It’s Cold Out! Fatbike / Snow Bike Festival on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm for a celebration of winter riding at Shelby Township’s River Bends Park. (In the event of poor weather we’ve set aside Saturday, February 16th, 2019 as a backup date.)

Come on out and join us for group rides, fatbike demos, hot bonfires, chili, and tasty beverages with a hundred of your fellow fatbikers. This is a potluck-style event, so please bring food, snacks, and/or drinks to share. And yes, beer is allowed in the park.

New for this year we’ll have Made in the USA CRAMBA Winter Hats available! $20/each, and with only 96 being made you’ll want to get yours soon! We’ll also have SBR (Snow Bike Route) decals for $5/each, perfect for your bike rack or car window. All profits go right back to supporting the trails you love!

Once again we’ll have the River Bends Snow Bike Route (RB-SBR) groomed by CRAMBA volunteers specifically for fatbike riding. For the hardy, add in the challenge of some classic fatbiking by riding the full Yellow loop which swaps some two track for 3/4 of a mile of ungroomed, foot-and-bike packed single track.

Many of your favorite bike shops will be in attendance with demo bikes for you to try!

Meet in River Bends Park, located on the south side of 22 Mile Road between Shelby and Ryan roads in Shelby Township. (Careful you don’t use the entrance off of Ryan and Hamlin; it doesn’t connect by road to the area we’ll be at.) Drive into the park, past the small lot into the main parking area, and look for us to your left. Click here for a map and directions: 5700 22 Mile Rd, Shelby Charter Township, MI 48317.
